AFSCME Florida Statement on Recertification Win for Jacksonville Transportation Authority

This week, the members of another AFSCME local union held their recertification election and voted overwhelmingly to retain the right to have a say in their future - AFSCME Local 3613, Jacksonville Transportation Authority, voted 100% yes.

AFSCME Florida Administrator James Spears, Jr. released the following statement: 

“The AFSCME Florida family is proudly made up of the broad and diverse jobs, backgrounds and beliefs that make Florida great. What they all have in common is pride in their work, dedication to those they serve and belief that their work deserves the respect that a collective bargaining agreement can provide.”
