* AFSCME’s member-led endorsement process is thorough and democratic to ensure the voices and priorities of our members determined the outcome. Endorsements involve questionnaires, candidate interviews, and more that all candidates are invited to participate in. For federal races, endorsement recommendations are made on the local level and forwarded to AFSCME International for further consideration. Individual locals can announce their support following their own processes but a full endorsement is not final until that process is complete. Through the voluntary contribution by members to AFSCME PEOPLE, volunteering their time and supporting our allies, we are standing up for our jobs and our communities.
